El sensor 6501KW2001A detecta la posició del rotor del motor Direct Drive de la rentadora LG i permet al control gestionar la rotació del tambor. És compatible amb rentadores LG/Goldstar. És una de les peces associades al codi d'error LE: quan falla, el tambor no gira bé o la rentadora s'atura amb aquest avís; convé revisar també el sensor tacòmetre (6501KW3002A).
